Looking For A New Roof?
Are you in the process of choosing a new roof for your house? Perhaps you are building a new home and you are still in the design process. Or, it might be that the roof on your present house simply needs to be replaced. Maybe your roof had hail damage after a severe storm, or the roof on your house is old. Whatever the reason that you are shopping for a new roof, here are some ideas that might help you.
A Shingle Roof - Do you have a traditional style house? If so, pretty much any choice of roof will be appropriate for your house. Consider a shingle roof. Shingle roofs are not only affordable, but they come in so many colors that you can more than likely find one that will complement your house. For example, if you have a house made of tan or off-white bricks, consider selecting brown shingles for your roof. If you have a light gray house, think of selecting dark gray shingles. Maybe your house is made of white brick that has little brick-red flecks in the design. If so, think of selecting brick red for the color of your shingles.
A Tin Roof - Tin roofs are more than likely going to cost more than a shingle roof, but they also will probably last longer. Is the style of your house a contemporary one? If so, a tin roof would probably look fantastic on the house. Tin weathers storms well and there are even many colors from which you can make your selection. For example, if your house color is very neutral, you might consider selecting a unique color, maybe turquoise or red, for your tin roof. That would certainly add a bit of drama to your house.
A Tile Roof - Have you traveled in places like Italy, Spain, or Mexico? If so, you might have fallen in love with red tile roofs that you saw along the way. You might have even seen them in California, Texas, Arizona, or New Mexico. No matter where you live, if your house has a southwest, Mediterranean, or Mexican look to it, consider selecting a tile roof. This might be your most expensive choice, but a tile roof will last for a very long time. Tile roofs come in so many colors that you might have trouble selecting the one you want.
